Elissa Eaton is an artist from Denver, CO. Using primarily paper, she cuts intricate portraits of nature with a focus on animals.
Her work captures cycles of life and death with a gentle, humorous touch, even as she elevates paper to high art. Her cutting method, and using the paper itself as a drawing material makes her such a perfect fit for neü folk.
Elissa graduated from CU Boulder under the tutelage of Alvin Gregorio. She has shown work across the southwest for the last decade.
